BIOGRAPHY

BASS was formed in 1998. As a place to realize musical ideas. As a studio that is always equipped with the latest recording technology, where you can work in a pleasant atmosphere with sufficient time, and peace and quiet. The current location at Medienbunker which opened in the heart of Hamburg in 2005 fulfils all these requirements.
BASS focuses on two areas: firstly, sound recordings for films and commercials, the musical framework for entire TV stations or individual events, and secondly, working with artists. The latter includes joint compositions as well as producing and discussing images, and the welfare fund for artists and publicists; a comprehensive vision of artist development.
There are two studios and recording rooms, all linked up, of course.
BASS also sees itself as a service provider – in accordance with the customer’s wishes.
Whether it is for film, television or advertising, it’s always about using music to inspire as much emotion as possible. In close co-operation with the director and producers, a collective sense for design and content, characters and their musical stylistics is created.
And BASS can deal with a wide variety of styles. Be it rock/pop, classical music/ambient, electro/dance or black music. The different musical backgrounds and CVs of the three composers Krisz Kreuzer, Oliver Schmitt and Cord Vorhauer guarantee a stylistically assured and personal trademark with optimum results.
